Eastern Rosella

Eastern Rosellas are very sociable parrots. They fly in groups and normally live in monogamous relationships their entire life.

During the mating season they move back to their breeding grounds. They breed in tree cavities or nesting boxes. The offspring is fed for about 6 weeks by their parents.

Eastern Rosellas are very talkative parrots and mostly popular for their colourful plumage, which shines bright in yellow, red, blue and green.
