Scottish highland cattle

Bos primigenius f. taurus

The Scottish Highland Cattle is a breed of domestic cattle from the northwest of Scotland and the Hebrides.

 

The small and relatively light highland cattle is considered peaceful, frugal and robust. The horns are gender-specific. The bull has a strong, horizontally forward curved shape, the cow’s horns are longer and far forward curved.
