Cockatiel

Nymphicus hollandicus

As a pet, Cockatiels are very adaptable and resistant. They therefore breed in captivity even under less than optimal living conditions. They are also distinct swarm animals when kept as pets. Therefore, keeping them in pairs of opposite sexes is ideal.

Keeping single leads to behavioural disorders.
