Dwarf donkeys are domestic animal breeds that were originally bred on the Italian islands Sardinia and Sicily.
Despite their small body size, dwarf donkeys are excellent pack animals. They can carry up to 45 kg of luggage and also pull small carts. Today they are still frequently kept farm animals in Italy, but also in the USA.
